New Life House Review, located steps away from the center of Lexington, spans 4 levels with almost 8000 square feet of living space. All client guest rooms at Tharros are equipped with queen sized Serta Presidential Euro-top premium mattresses and high thread count linens.

At New Life House Review, we combine a sober community with aftercare, assisting our clients as they acquire new skills to meet life’s challenges in a fresh and encouraging way. Life at Teras

The Saturday group activities vary butmay include participating in an escape room, riding Go-karts, or even sailing.There are also many other activities that the residents at New Life House Reviewpartake in. Events like a weekly BBQ for residents, yoga classes, and ping pongtournaments. These activities help the residents of the New Life House Review buildstrong, lasting bonds with one another, as well as improve their health throughnutrition and exercise. Your experience at Tharros is designed to help you be successful in your personal goals. We start with listening to your goals, and helping you identify what you want to achieve at Tharros. There is a saying that “all we need to know we learned in kindergarten”.

New Life House Review Referrals And Client Resources

Our team provides support to ongoing clinical work as part of that process. Tharros offers more than a traditional sober living. Some treatment facilities provide care for 30, 60 or 90+ days. If you’ve completed a program like this, you’re probably feeling very good about your recovery, as you should. At New Life House Review, we want to help you achieve your life goals and long­-term sobriety with the tools and foundation you’ve already acquired.

Boston Area Structured and Supportive Sober Living- Starting at $3500 per month (Mens)

Making a commitment to sober living will change your life for the better. If you have committed to sober living in Massachusetts, you should consider living in a sober living home. Sober living homes have many benefits, including the benefit of residing with other people who are working to recover from addiction in an environment free of alcohol and other addictive substances. At New Life House Review, we take a custom approach to each client, starting with a full understanding of each client’s needs and goals.

That’s why we encourage our clients to consider staying 6 months to one year. Teras and Tharros are not affiliated with any clinical treatment (IOP/PHP, etc.) and our focus is on helping each client engage the best clinical support for their own circumstance. We have many local connections, including McLean Hospital, and we  help clients who don’t have clinical supports in place connect with appropriate resources. Teras, our flexible structure home, offers a lower cost model for those ready to return to work, and who have their own transportation. Teras offers a shared (double) space for $5,500 per month.

The residents living at New Life House Review are asked to meet with theircase manager at least once a week. In addition, residents are also asked toparticipate in morning meetings, which are scheduled during the week (Mondaythrough Friday). There is also a Sunday evening meeting each week at 6 PM thatthe residents of New Life House Review are asked to attend. New Life House Review also encourages its residents to participatein the weekly Saturday group activity.

A study of 300 individuals whom resided in Sober Living Homes (SLH) was published in 2010 by a division of the NIH (National Institute of Health) (Douglas L. Polcin, 2010). That study found that freestanding SLH’s offer enough structure, with no formal treatment, creating an optimal environment for residents ready for the next step. SLH’s provide an environment for individuals capable of handling a fair amount of autonomy and wish to take personal responsibility for their recovery. You are more likely to maintain long-term sobriety by entering and committing to a structured transitional living environment, like New Life House Review.

New Life House Review approaches recovery by looking at both abstinence and your life satisfaction/ happiness. We employ the tenants of positive psychology to help identify what areas of your life will benefit the most from your attention, ultimately helping you achieve your goals and a life that you look forward to living! New Life House Review has a great number of resources and we can refer you to therapists, programs, and licensed professionals as needed.

After your initial period at Tharros, you may wish to explore our less structured home, Teras. You are not locked in to any long term agreements, but we do ask that you come planning to stay for at least 30 days. Tharros offers significantly more than a traditional sober living. We fit in between what you’d find at a clinical extended care program and very supportive recovery home. Each individual is supported to make his own choices in his recovery. Tharros offers an extensive and flexible peer support program to helps clients navigate important changes and decisions.

Leaving a residential, inpatient, or outpatient treatment environment is often more challenging than expected. You’ve changed, but the people, places, and things around you haven’t. Some of the same triggers you had before can be reactivated and we recognize how frustrating and upsetting that can be. All New Life House Review and Teras House clients are provided peer case management to ensure that they are given every opportunity to maximize their early recovery. Our team works one on one with each client to help identify ways to add value to their long term recovery, including a focus on relapse prevention, values, and recovery fellowship engagement. In addition to vetting treatment professionals, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), recovery meetings, and other outpatient resources, we expose clients to various life engagement activities.

Not all sober living homes are the same and in fact beyond the differences in “amenities”, there are many other important factors to consider. The road to recovery from alcoholism and addiction requires significant emotional, behavioral, and intellectual changes. This might sound scary, but it doesn’t New Life House Review Review have to be. Whether you’ve just completed a drug detox, alcohol rehab, or any other kind of substance abuse treatment, we know recovery takes time and we know that you’re worth it. Whatever your primary treatment method, you’ve had a great start because your body is now free of alcohol and drugs.
